What Is The Best Way To Order Beer or Root Beer For My Upcoming Party?
Call us and put in your order as soon as possible (“day of” orders are near impossible to fill). Let us know what size you need (13.2 gallon, 5 gallon, Growler or Party Ball), and if you will need a jockey box (a portable draft system complete with CO2) or a hand pump.
There is a link to the current price list on the top of this page in the main menu. Let us know when you would like to pick up your order, so we can coordinate our operations here at the brewery. (We are not open to the public).
Enjoy your beer or root beer. Return our equipment within 3 days. Cheers.

Is It Possible To Book The Brewery for a Private Event?
Keeping in mind that we are a working brewery and things are usually in a finely ordered state of chaos, we do on some occasions have private events held here. This is on a case-by-case basis.
Simply contact Kristiann and she will work with you to see if we can accommodate your request!
-
I Heard You Do A Brew On Premise? Can I Really Brew My Own Beer?
Check it now, funk soul brother: Brew on Premise (BOP) details are right here. Solid!

Where, How, And When Does One Purchase Cases Or Growlers?
The brewery is open for growler fills every Friday from 4pm to 6pm.
-
Is Beer Friday Kid-Friendly?
Beer Friday is indeed "Kid-Friendly." Please keep in mind that we are a working brewery and there is a lot of equipment around that little ones can into trouble with if not properly supervised. It can also be pretty crowded depending on the month / band / weather.
We have sodas and water available and we usually have home-made root beer as well!
-
How Do You Find Out Who Is Playing On Beer Friday?
If you are registered for the mailing list you will receive a monthly email, usually the week of Beer Friday letting you know who is playing and whats going on. Otherwise, We post the bands on the website a day or two before Beer Friday.
-
How Do I Book My Band For Beer Friday?
Easy! Simply fill in our Band Request Form.
The calendar is typically booked as far as a year in advance, but sometimes there are cancellations.
You can also Send us a demo CD!
-
Do You Sell T-shirts With Any of Your Label Designs?
Yes we do! You can get a T-Shirt at the brewery anytime we are open. We also try to have them on hand when we are pouring at different events.
-
Why Is It Called Silicon Blonde?
Thanks for the question! First off, the beer is a blonde style ale. Secondly, this is Silicon Valley. Put the two together and you have the name: Silicon Blonde!
Looking at the label you see female figure resembling a statue and holding hops in her hand. This is an inference to the beer being an award winner. The left side of the label shows the farming and agricultural history of the valley, the right; the modern day technology influence.

What Is The Devil's Canyon Beer Club and What Are the Benefits of Joining?
Membership in the Devil’s Canyon Beer Club is Limited to 100 of the Most "Deadicated", Die-Hard Devil’s Canyon Fans.
If you have been around the brewery for a while you may have noticed that membership in one of those 100 slots is not easy to come by.
More often than not there is a waiting list. . .
What Are The Benefits of Joining? Glad You Asked!
Answers are right . . . Here!

Do you serve any food on Fridays? I noticed that you have catered BBQ on Beer Fridays. What is the price of the BBQ and what items are featured? And are they there the whole time ...'til 12:30AM?
We do have catered food on Beer Friday. Sometimes it is BBQ, sometimes it gourmet appetizers - it changes. We will always announce what caterer will be at Beer Friday in the Mailer. So if you are not on the mailing list please sign up.
Prices will vary by caterer of course. Food is usually available until about 11pm.
-
Where can I buy your Full Boar Scotch Ale?
You can purchase all of our beers at the brewery (Kegs, Growlers - Read other FAQs for details) or take a look at the TAP LOCATIONS link at the top of the page to see what bars and restaurants carry our products.
-
Can you ship beer growlers throughout the US or are they just available for pickup at your location?
Growlers are only available for pick-up at the brewery.
-
I just got a new kegerator, and I'm baptizing it with your beer. What is the best temp and CO2 level to serve your frosty goodness?
Congratulations! Assuming you have 5 feet of line from the keg to the tap you'll want to set the temperature around 40 degress and the CO2 to about 12psi. Of course this differs by kegerator, altitude and phase of the moon but the 40/12 should get you in the right ballpark.
Micromatic has a great troubleshooting page right here you may want to take a look at as well.
Enjoy your new home kegerator and thank you for supporting your local brewery!
-
Does my growler container need to be purchased from Devil's Canyon the first time or can i recycle an old one that I have?
While we love the idea of recycling beer growlers from other breweries, California law states that the growler has to be from the brewery that is filling it. Without getting into too much detail it has to do with labeling and legal requirements.
Thank you for your question and we'll see you when you're ready for a fill-up!
-
Do you mail your rootbeer to a US address?
We don't typically ship our root beer but we may be able to on a case-by-case basis. Give us a call at the brewery!
-
Do you serve food?
No. We are a Brewery. See FAQ on Beer Friday.
-
Can I schedule a tour of the brewery? Thanks.
We don't typically schedule tours of the brewery (and it would be a short one - we aren't that massive), but we are open once a month for Beer Friday. Any available staff member would be more than happy to show you around.
-
Hi, I am helping my sister-in law who is throwing a 30th b-day party in Sept. Do you open for private parties on Saturday?
We do open for private parties on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Kristiann to see if we can accommodate you!
-
I have a quick question. Do you have any internship programs at your brewery at the moment? I have volunteered at other breweries but I would like to know if there is something a little more long term so as to get some more full experience in the brewing world.
Thank you
We do have interns at various times. The best approach is to contact us directly to see if we have any available opportunities. Good Luck!
-
I want to organize a work happy hour for Beer Friday. Do you take reservations? Or is it first come, first serve for table seating?
It is first come, first serve and if you have been here before you'll know that it is quite crowded early on in the evening. Doors open to the General public at 6pm, if you contact Dan he may be able to let you in earlier to save a seat.
-
If you already have purchased a pint glass from a previous beer Friday, can you use it during future beer Fridays to avoid the $8 first beer fee?
Absolutely! That is why we sell them, we want people to recycle them!
