Assistant Brewer Wanted

The Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company seeks an Assistant Brewer. The Assistant Brewer is responsible for a variety of processes, primarily focused on the cleaning and sanitation of brewing equipment and the facility itself, preparation of products, and kegging of finished product. You will report to the Head Brewer/Production Manager, and will work closely with this person to ensure adequate supply of product to meet the demand plan.

The applicant should posses the following qualifications:
1. Strict attention to detail
2. Ability to multi-task
3. Willingness to engage in any level of activity necessary for the functioning of the business
4. Ability to be self-guided
5. Desire to work hard
6. Learns and takes ownership of processes quickly
7. Brewing education and/or experience preferred, but not required

Duties:
1. Cleaning and sanitation of fermentation vessels, bright beer tanks, brewhouse, other equipment
2. Cellarman duties: cleaning kegs, filling kegs, oversight and maintenance of inventory of filled kegs
3. Cleaning and organization of the facility
4. Driving truck to collect raw materials, other supplies
5. Milling grains
6. Brewing and filtration of Devil’s Canyon products
7. Other duties as assigned

This is a full time position beginning ASAP.
