Devil's Canyon Brewery is a brewery and is
generally not open to the public. We sell our beer to bars and restaurants up
and down the peninsula. Here's the current list of locations.
If someone forwarded you this email, please check out the website and join the mailing
list. If you did not forward this email to someone please let us know why
you hate puppies and unicorns so much.
On the last Friday of the month we open our
doors to the public and have 2 or 3 live bands. There is no cover charge.
Your first drink of the night is $7.00. You get to keep the Devil's Canyon pint
glass. After that, drinks are $4.00. Food, Wine, Soda and water is also
available.
We are family friendly but the brewery is not
“kid-proof” so keep an eye on the mobile tykes!

Beer
Friday Special Beers
This Beer Friday, in addition to our regular beers, we will
have the Stout, Habanero, and a special Harvest
Ale on draft! The Harvest Ale was made using hops we harvested from the
fence in back. After much discussion, we decided to call it “Harvest Ale”
instead of “Hops We Harvested From the Fence Ale”. We think we made the right
decision.
Disclaimer
– the hops weren’t actually growing on the fence, they were growing on a hop
bine that - what? No, it’s bine. Look it up. Anyway, the bine goes
up the fence and into the trees out back. Handsome Dan really enjoyed picking
hops at 12 noon in 90 degree weather, after a night on the town. He got to say
hello to lady bugs, spiders, pick pine needles out of his hair. It was AWESOME!

THIS IS A BLAST! If you didn’t get a chance
to check out last year’s show there is hope for redemption!
Filled with handsome heroes, virtuous damsels
in distress, and dastardly villains — and interrupted occasionally by
terpsichorean delights performed by fetchingly costumed lovelies and debonair
gents — “The Fortune Hunter’s Daughter” is a spectacle you won’t want to
miss! (And our beer is on tap!)
Be sure to bring your best “boos” for the
villain, “cheers” for the hero and be ready to “swoon” for the heroine.
Everyone contributes to the fun at a melodrama!
Check
out the
rest of the details here. We aren’t kidding – this is a LOT of fun Mr.
Grumpy McGrumpus! WIVES AND GIRLFRIENDS! – Take your men / significant others.
After sulking for about 3 minutes they WILL have fun.

Parking in Front of Roll Up Doors
A reminder that it is best not to park in
front of “roll up doors” when you are at the brewery. People do work late in
the complex - even on Fridays. Many businesses in the complex need to drive
their vehicles into their unit. If you are parked there, you may be towed. You
can safely park along the creek, on Industrial and on Harbor.
Better yet, stop hating the glaciers so much and take public transit or a cab!
Brew On Premise – Our Gear, Your Beer
October 18th
- Full
November 15th - Spots Available!
What
if you could make your own beer on a professional brewing system, under the
guidance of award-winning brewers? You could tweak that special homebrew
recipe, have a company team-building event, or just meet up with your mates.
Devil’s
Canyon Brewery is the only location in the San Francisco Bay Area that still
have a Brew On Premise program!
During
the approx. 5 hour process under the guidance of an award-winning brewer, you
will make enough beer for a 13.2 gallon keg or about 5 cases of 22oz bottled
beers.
Make
it an event with friends and you can mix and match cases of your different
brews. This is a perfect activity for a unique twist on any type of event you
might host.
BOPs
are extremely sought after and they fill up almost as soon as we announce them.
·
Your
best bet is to ensure you are on the mailing list.
That is the first place we will post a notification.
·
Secondly,
check the brewery
calendar. It should say if there are spots available.
·
Lastly,
check with Daniel
van der Veen, the BOP Coordinator.
If
you have a special need to use our brewing system we do occasionally run
batches for special group events. Please contact us with the details
of you idea!
